Candidates who wish to appear for the ACJ Entrance Exam 2022 have to follow the below-mentioned admission process.
Step 1: Fill ACJ Entrance Exam Application Form
Candidates had to fill the application form for ACJ admissions 2022 in online (on the official website of the college) or offline (by downloading the form from the official website of the college and thereafter posting it to the concerned authorities) mode. The candidate had to choose whichever mode they are more comfortable with and had to apply accordingly. The candidate had to register themselves and then apply for admission to the course interested in.
Step 2: Pay the application fee
The application fee for ACJ entrance exam was INR 2,360/- (inclusive of GST @ 18%). Candidates applying for both programmes needed to pay only one application fee. The fee could have been remitted as an online transfer or sent as a Demand Draft in favour of “Media Development Foundation”, payable at Chennai. Candidates were also advised to ensure that their full name, email id and mobile number accompanied the payment. In the case of online transfer the applicant were be directed to the Online Payment gateway once the form was completely filled. The applicants were requested to keep their credit card/ debit card/ net banking details ready for making the payment. The applicants using the payment gateway service were required to pay the convenience fee as prescribed by the service.
Step 3: Intimation Through Email
Candidates who had successfully applied online for admission to ACJ programmes received an email between May 11 and May 13, 2022 detailing the process of connecting online for the examination.
Step 4: Appear for the ACJ Entrance Exam
After a careful assessment of applications, shortlisted candidates were required to take an online entrance examination. Candidates had the option to take the examination individually in their homes or at any place where they had access to a computer with internet facility. The examination was held online in real time on Sunday, May 15, 2022 between 10 am and 12 noon.
ACJ Entrance Exam 2022 Eligibility CriteriaA Bachelor’s degree is mandatory. Graduates in any discipline are eligible to apply for admission to the ACJ-Bloomberg Business and Financial Journalism programme and ACJ Integrated Multimedia Journalism programme. Candidates who are yet to write their undergraduate degree examination (because of the delay due to the lockdown) as well as those awaiting the results of their undergraduate examination are also eligible to apply. Enrolled students should provide their mark sheet or degree certificate to the Registrar ideally within the first week of commencement of classes. However, if the undergraduate exam results are likely to be delayed, more time may be given for submission of the certificates. All students awaiting their examination results should provide their degree certificate latest by the end of March 2023.
